I would like to tell you about Tera's relationship with me

and

my thoughts on this project.

How Tera and I met

We met at a study group where we learned programming.

The study group was for people who wanted to learn for the first time.

At the time, I was the most inexperienced of all the members and had no idea where to start or how to work.

At that time, Tera was always kind enough to teach me.

He provided me with sample code and showed me the minimum points I needed to keep in mind.

Thanks to this sample code, I was able to program and run what I wanted to make.

About Tera from my point of view

We continued to correspond after the programming workshop was disbanded.

There was another fellow named tombi.

Each of the three of us started studying about our respective areas of interest.

The only thing we had in common was "programming”.

Tera began studying statistics and data analysis, and

tombi started gaining experience in the development field to fulfill his dream of becoming an engineer.

I immersed myself in modifying blogs and posting articles.

Tera always has interesting information to share.

Interesting AI and recommended books....

He is always taking action, actually participating in study groups and communities.

I also noticed that he has acquired many certifications, too many for me to remember. (~ ̄▽ ̄)~

He has an unstoppable spirit.

This is the part I cannot imitate.

これは私は真似できない部分です。

彼がおとなしいと思ったら要注意。
そういうときはたいてい何か面白いことに夢中になっている時期です。

Why do I participate in Japanese Language Study Support?

The reason is simple.

When Tera approached me with the idea of setting up a Japanese language study support program, I could feel his passion for it even more than usual.

My occupation is a cram school teacher.

I was an elementary school teacher until a few years ago.

I like learning myself, but I like interacting with people who are learning even more.

I am most comfortable watching them go through daily trial and error to achieve their goals.

Growth is wonderful!

When people look at my background, they ask, "Do you like kids?" You might think.


But I do not. I like people who grow up.

If I can engage in this favorite thing with people not only in Japan but also overseas, I will be able to .....

There would be no need to spend millions on learning Japanese.
You could spend your money and time on other things.

I thought about three issues in particular:

  2. What is the difference between what we have been working on as work and what we are trying to work on as support activities?

Often, I find myself spending half a day on the Internet because I can't find the answer I'm looking for.

But as I did the research over and over again, I began to understand how to do the research.

I would like to use these skills to support Japanese language learning.


If a learner asks me for help with a kanji that they have difficulty understanding,

I want to introduce them to free learning materials or just the right channel on YouTube.

2:What is the difference between what we have been working on as work and what we are trying to work on as support activities?


Japanese children learn kanji in elementary school.

I was an elementary school teacher, so I know how to approach it until they can master it.

I think I can use that experience as well.

When I teach something as my job,
It is the teacher's role to manage the student to achieve the desired level.


"Have you done your homework for today?"
"Your current assignment is this section, so let's review this page again.”
etc...

Is this necessary for adults?


I am sure they can manage themselves.
They should be able to do so because they have a strong will to make time to study in their busy lives.

3:Why can't we carry out work-like activities without money?

My opinion is that as long as there is an established relationship between the giver and the receiver of something, money needs to be involved.

So how about disrupting that relationship?

All learners are teachers and students.

That's the kind of relationship we want to create.

We want to learn each other's language through the exchange of comments.

So let's be friends.

プログラミングの勉強を始めてもう1年以上になりました。
そこで学んだことは「分からないことはインターネットで調べること」です。

調べても欲しい答えになかなかたどり着けず気づけば半日が過ぎてたということはよくあります。

でも調べることを何度も行ううちに調べ方のコツが分かるようになったのです。

そのスキルを使って日本語学習サポートに活かしたい。
学習者が「漢字が分かりにくい」と相談してきたら私は無料の教材を紹介したり、YouTubeで丁度いいチャンネルを紹介したりしたい。


日本の子供が漢字を学ぶのは小学校です。
私は小学校教師だったので習得できるまでのアプローチの仕方を知っています。その経験も活かせると思う。

仕事として何かを教える時、
生徒が希望のレベルになるように管理するのが教師の役目です。
「今日の宿題やりましたか?」
「あなたの現時点での課題はこの部分だからこのページをもう一度復習しましょう」
など...

大人に対して必要だろうか?
きっと自己管理できるはず。
普段忙しい生活の中、時間を作って勉強をしようという強い意志がある人々だからできるはず。

仲間!!
一緒に勉強する仲間!

Teraとtombiと私のように

仲間がいればなんでもできるわ。

何かを与える人と与えられる人との関係が確立している限りお金を介す必要があるというのが私の意見。

ではその関係を崩してしまうのはどう?

与えるだけではなく与えられることもある。
学習者みんなが先生であり、生徒でもある。

そういった関係を作りたい。

コメントのやりとりを通してお互いに言語を学びあいたいと思います。

だから友達になりましょう。

「私の口癖はこう言えばいいのか」
